Claire Mengel is an activist from Cincinnati, Ohio currently studying German and International Studies at Boston College. They are passionate about female empowerment, queer and trans issues, and voter registration. They have worked with Girl Power Politics, Cincinnati Day of the Girl, and the Hamilton County Commission on Women and Girls. They organized and led the Protect Diversity in Forest Hills movement and testified before the Congressional Subcommittee on Civil Rights and Civil Liberties. They are a National Merit Scholar and were awarded the 2022 YWCA Racial Justice Award.
